Handmade Bio Jewelry- The cutest gift ever!!

Who doesn't like surprises and gifts? I got this all in one when my baby sister gave me a packet from her trip back from U.S and here is what it had

A cute set of ear rings and 3 colourful rings! Aren't they beautiful?

The package had a small slip of paper which said this..

and here is where I learnt that this jewelry is from the Bio Jewelry Project and the money earned will go to buying Mammograms for poor women in Brazil. My sister told me that the material for this jewelry comes from Acai palm and coconut palm trees, hence Bio jewelry.

I know you'll go up and have a closer look at the ear-rings.. coming straight from an empty coconut shell and the rings perhaps from an Acai Palm bark!! :) Wow!

 I was amazed at my sister's thoughtfulness at helping an organization and finding my type of gift at the same time.

Now this has become one of the nicest gifts I have ever received!
